We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and reports
• Record daily financial transactions and post entries into accounting systems
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconcile bank statements, cashbooks, and ledger accounts
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory deductions
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents and records
• Assist during internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or Accountant.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
• Good numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
• Willingness to learn and take instructions
• NYSC completion or exemption (where applicable).

Additional Skills (Advantage):

• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage)
• Understanding of tax regulations and statutory remittance.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
