About the Role

• We are seeking experienced Electrical Technicians to join our maintenance and operations team. The ideal candidates will have strong hands‑on experience with industrial electrical systems, particularly within steel plants or heavy manufacturing environments.
• This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting electrical faults, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot faults in motors, control panels, PLCs, MCCs, sensors, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
• Support installation, upgrades, and commissioning of plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards and company procedures.
• Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to improve uptime and operational performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.

Requirements

• OND / HND / B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years minimum experience as an Electrical Technician in a steel plant or heavy manufacturing setting.
• Strong practical knowledge of:
  • Industrial automation & controls
  • PLC troubleshooting (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley)
  • Switchgear, MCC panels, VFDs, power systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Good problem‑solving skills and a strong safety mindset.
• Willingness to work shifts and support urgent maintenance needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with EAFs, CCMs, Rolling Mills, or comparable steel production machinery.
• Safety and electrical installation certifications are an added advantage.
