Brands and Trade Retail Consultants Limited - We are a recruitment and field-force consulting firm specializing in building high-performing sales teams for leading beverage brands (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) across Lagos and its environs. We are currently recruiting experienced and motivated sales professionals to join our clients’ field sales operations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Van Sales Representative

Locations: Shapati, Ibeju Lekki, Marina and Oke Arin - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, executing market routes, and distributing products within assigned territories.
  • The ideal candidate must be proactive, persuasive, and capable of delivering on daily sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within assigned routes.
  • Conduct market visits to existing and potential customers.
  • Ensure proper loading, stocking, and rotation of beverage products in the sales van.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and other trade partners.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and order quantities to maximize sales.
  • Collect payments and ensure proper reconciliation of daily sales.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence reports.
  • Ensure the sales vehicle is kept in good working condition.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • National Diploma (ND)
  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BSc)

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year as a Van Sales Representative in FMCG (preferably beverages).
  • Driving Skills: Ability to drive a 6-tyre Mitsubishi Canter truck is an added advantage.
  • Digital Literacy: Proficiency in WhatsApp, Google tools, Zoom, and other basic digital platforms.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation: Proven experience in influencing customer purchasing decisions.
  • Integrity: Strong financial discipline and accountability.
  • Residency: Must currently reside in Lagos State and be familiar with designated routes.
  • Driving License: Valid driver’s license, LASDRI is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Gross Basic N90,000
  • Incentive N80,000
  • Offload Assistance N44,000
