Job Title: Van Sales Representative
Locations: Shapati, Ibeju Lekki, Marina and Oke Arin - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary
- The Van Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, executing market routes, and distributing products within assigned territories.
- The ideal candidate must be proactive, persuasive, and capable of delivering on daily sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within assigned routes.
- Conduct market visits to existing and potential customers.
- Ensure proper loading, stocking, and rotation of beverage products in the sales van.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and other trade partners.
- Negotiate pricing, promotions, and order quantities to maximize sales.
- Collect payments and ensure proper reconciliation of daily sales.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence reports.
- Ensure the sales vehicle is kept in good working condition.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- National Diploma (ND)
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc)
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year as a Van Sales Representative in FMCG (preferably beverages).
- Driving Skills: Ability to drive a 6-tyre Mitsubishi Canter truck is an added advantage.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in WhatsApp, Google tools, Zoom, and other basic digital platforms.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Negotiation: Proven experience in influencing customer purchasing decisions.
- Integrity: Strong financial discipline and accountability.
- Residency: Must currently reside in Lagos State and be familiar with designated routes.
- Driving License: Valid driver’s license, LASDRI is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
- Gross Basic N90,000
- Incentive N80,000
- Offload Assistance N44,000
