Job Title: Procurement Officer (Graduate Trainee)

Job Description
- This role is ideal for early-career professionalslooking to build a strong career in procurement and supply chain management within the oil and gas industry.
- The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in vendor management, sourcing strategy, and procurement operations while working in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare procurement proposals, RFQs, and support purchase negotiations
- Source and evaluate reliable vendors for materials, equipment, and services
- Review, compare, and analyze supplier quotations and recommendations
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues
- Inspect and evaluate purchased items to ensure quality standards
- Support sourcing strategies through market and industry trend analysis
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and assist in contract negotiations
- Conduct supplier research and maintain procurement records
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree / HND in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline with 0–2 years post-NYSC experience (Graduate Trainees encouraged to apply)
- Minimum of 1 year exposure to foreign or local procurement within an oil & gas servicing environment (internship experience may be considered)
- Knowledge of oilfield equipment, materials, and service procurement processes
- Familiarity with NIPEX and Nigerian Content requirements is an added advantage
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- High attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment
