Job Title: Interior Design Facilitator

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job type: Part time (On-site)

Description

• We invites applications from qualified Architects to join our team as a SketchUp Facilitator. This role is exclusively for female candidates and will be based in Port Harcourt.
• We are seeking a skilled and passionate facilitator to deliver hands-on training in 3D modeling for interior design students. The facilitator will guide students through practical workflows—from basic modeling to presentation-ready interior visuals—using industry-standard methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach SketchUp for interior design applications including space modeling, furniture, cabinetry, and interior elements.
• Introduce layout setup, scenes, scaling, and basic documentation.
• Guide students in applying materials, textures, lighting, and model organization.
• Support integration of SketchUp with rendering plugins (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape – basic to intermediate).
• Conduct studio-style practical sessions, assignments, and design reviews.
• Assist students in translating design concepts into 3D visual representations.
• Provide constructive feedback on student work and assess progress.
• Help students prepare models for client presentations and studio defense.
• Collaborate with other facilitators to align digital output with studio objectives.

Mode of Engagement:

• Part-time, on-site (Port Harcourt)

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field with 5-7 years experience.
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp (interior design focus).
• Teaching, facilitation, or studio mentoring experience is an advantage.
• Practical knowledge of interior detailing and space planning.
• Familiarity with rendering tools (V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring design students.
