Job Description

• We at Diqam solutions are recruiting suitable candidate for the post of adispatch rider who would beresponsible for the prompt, safe pickup and delivery of documents, packages, and products, using a motorcycle to navigate traffic, plan efficient routes, maintain the vehicle, obtain delivery signatures, collectpayments, and communicatewith clients and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliveries & Collections:Safely transporting items (documents, parcels) to designated locations within specified time frames.
• Navigation & Routing:Planning the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery, utilizing mapping apps and local knowledge.
• Vehicle Maintenance:Performing routine checks (oil, tires, brakes) on the assigned motorcycle and reporting faults.
• Documentation & Record Keeping:Maintaining daily logs of deliveries, obtaining recipient signatures, and verifying orders.
• Customer Service & Communication:Interacting professionally with clients, informing them of package status, and resolving delivery issues.
• Compliance:Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Payment Collection:Receiving, handling, and remitting payments for delivered items.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid rider's permit/license.
• Excellent riding skills and safe driving habits.
• Good communication skills and proficiency in reading/writing.
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns.
• Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation.
• Physically fit and able to work flexible hours.
