We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Measurement / Calibration Engineer

Locations: Lagos and Port Harcourt - Rivers

Job Purpose

  • The Measurement/Calibration Engineer will ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of all measuring instruments and calibration systems used within Felton Energy Services Limited.
  • This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence, supporting quality assurance, and meeting industry standards.
  • The engineer will be responsible for performing precise calibrations, documenting competencies, and ensuring that all instrumentation aligns with regulatory and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration, verification, and adjustment of measuring instruments in compliance with international standards (ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540, etc.).
  • Document calibration results, maintain traceability records, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior staff on calibration procedures.
  • Ensure proper documentation of individual competencies and certifications.

 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field).
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in calibration engineering or instrumentation services.
  • Valid certification/accreditation in calibration of measuring instruments (ISO/IEC 17025 or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, sensors, and measurement technologies.
  • Proficiency in calibration software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply technical standards in practical calibration scenarios.

Competency Requirements:

  • Documented evidence of individual competencies in calibration and instrumentation.
  • Duly certified in the calibration of measuring instruments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to precision and reliability.
