We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Frontend Developer - NYSC

Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: NYSC (Hybrid) 

Role Summary

• As an NYSC Frontend Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for crafting seamless and visually appealing user interfaces.
• You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to create intuitive and responsive applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Vue.js and other modern frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and visually appealing designs.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Debug and resolve frontend issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Work with RESTful APIs to integrate frontend functionality with backend services.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in web development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in Vue.js and its ecosystem (Vue Router, Vuex, etc.).
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• A portfolio of projects (academic, personal, or professional) showcasing your frontend development skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks (e.g., TailwindCSS, Bootstrap).
• Understanding of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Exposure to testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
• Knowledge of backend basics (e.g., Node.js, Express) for better collaboration.
