United Nigeria Airlines is a wholly owned Nigerian company incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act of 1990 at the Corporate Affairs Commission to offer commercial air transportation services under the trade name United Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Summary

• United Nigeria Airlines, an expanding IATA-member carrier, is entering a significant fleet and network growth phase. We seek a globally experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead safe, reliable, and cost-efficient airline operations across domestic, regional, and future intercontinental markets.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Ensure world-class safety and regulatory compliance
• Deliver competitive On-Time Performance and Completion Factor
• Optimize aircraft utilization and operational efficiency
• Oversee Flight Ops, Engineering & Maintenance, Ground Ops, OCC, Safety & Quality
• Support fleet induction and network expansion

Requirements

• 15+ years airline operational experience
• 7+ years in senior operational leadership
• Proven IOSA/NCAA/ICAO compliance experience
• Strong fleet expansion or growth-phase airline background
• Data-driven, crisis-capable leader.
