We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Underwriting Administrator

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Underwriting Administrator to support our underwriting team in a financial lending environment.
• This is an entry-level role ideal for a smart, proactive candidate with strong Excel skills and a willingness to learn underwriting processes within loan and credit operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support underwriters with data entry, documentation, and loan file preparation
• Maintain and update underwriting trackers and reports using Excel
• Conduct basic research on underwriting guidelines, credit policies, and financial products
• Review submitted documents for accuracy and completeness
• Assist with compliance checks and internal process documentation
• Liaise with internal teams to resolve missing or unclear information

Requirements

• Minimum of HND/  BSc in any discipline (Finance, Business, Economics is a plus but not required)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, data validation, basic reporting)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Willingness and ability to research and quickly learn underwriting concepts in financial services
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
