Job Summary

  • The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring sound financial management, strategic planning, and compliance with regulatory and internal control standards.
  • The role provides financial insights to drive business decisions, manage budgets, optimize costs, and ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, advising management on risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure tax planning, statutory compliance, and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operations.
  • Lead audit processes (internal and external) and strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets.
  • Drive cost optimization, revenue assurance, and capital investment analysis (ROI).
  • Supervise daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, payroll, and financial records.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, improving systems, processes, and financial reporting tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • ⁠Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CFA) is required.
  • ⁠Minimum of 10 years experience in finance, accounting, or audit, with at least 3 years in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and reporting standards.
  • ⁠Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • ⁠High integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
  • ⁠Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books, or equivalent).
  • ⁠Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
