Job Title: Embryologist

Location: Victoria Island (Adeola Odeku) - Lagos

Job Description

  • Perform procedures such as the handling, processing, and assessment of human eggs, sperm, and embryos.
  • Carry out techniques such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and assisted hatching to maximize the chances of successful fertilization and embryo development.
  • Ensure the cultivation and monitoring of embryos in a laboratory setting, ensuring optimal conditions for their development.
  • Carry out procedures such as preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) or preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) to screen embryos for genetic abnormalities and determine the sex of embryos in cases of certain genetic disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory procedures, test results, and patient information in accordance with regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper coordination and timely reporting of test results.

Requirements

  • Degree in Life Science, Biology or related field, must have experience in a health sector.
