MKOBO is a fully licensed Microfinance bank by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Lagos, Nigeria. MKOBO was conceived to help solve consumers’ need for access to short-term emergency credit. Our goal is to provide access to short term unsecured loans, which is easily accessible. We cater to the demography currently undeserved by the Commercial banks in our aim to help increase financial inclusion of the Nigerian population.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance and Portfolio Officer

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will;

• Be responsible for ensuring quality portfolio health across all public sector loan products, mitigating risk;
• Partner with the MDA (Ministries, Departments and Agencies) local payment authorities, and relationship officers to prepare loan repayment schedules, submit them as due, and follow up to ensure 100% timely repayment.
• Track loan repayment schedules, engage customers to prevent defaults and ensure timely loan payments.
• Ensure the non-performing loan (NPL) portfolio of the company always remains below the regulatory limit.

Requirements

• BSc Degree or equivalent in any relevant field of study
• Strong planning, communication, and problem solving skills
• Analytical with attention to details
• Basic proficiency in excel and scheduling tools.
