Job Title: Lawyer (Legal Officer)

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are currently seeking a smart, experienced, and result-driven Legal Officer to join our team at our Ajah/Sangotedo office in Lagos
• The Legal Officer will oversee all legal matters relating to the company’s real estate operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage documentation, and provide sound legal advisory support to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and vet contracts, deeds of assignment, MOUs, and other legal/property documents.
• Conduct land due diligence and title verification.
• Ensure compliance with relevant property and corporate laws.
• Provide legal advisory support to management and other departments.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external counsel when necessary.
• Handle dispute resolution and represent the company in legal proceedings when required.
• Maintain proper legal documentation and records.

Requirements

• LL.B Degree from a recognized institution.
• BL qualification and active membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
• Minimum of 5 years post-call experience, preferably in real estate law.
• Strong knowledge of property law and corporate/commercial law.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Salary
N350,000 – N400,000 Monthly (Negotiable based on experience).
