Odixcity Consulting - Our client, a Senior Secondary School, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Drawing Teacher

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Part-Time (Twice a week)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Technical Drawing Teacher to teach Senior Secondary School students (SS1 & SS2). The ideal candidate must have a strong background in Engineering or Architecture and the ability to simplify technical concepts for students.

Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental and advanced technical drawing conceptsto SS1 and SS2 students.
• Prepare lesson notes and instructional materials.
• Guide students in practical and theoretical aspects of technical drawing.
• Assess students’ classwork, assignments, and tests, and practical drawings.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
• Prepare students for WASSCE/NECO exams.
• Maintain a record of students’ progress.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: B.Sc or HND in Engineering or Architecture.
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate is required.
• Previous teaching experience in Technical Drawing /is needed.
• Must have a strong grasp of geometric construction, orthographic projection, and building/mechanical drawing.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawing principles.
• Previous teaching experience is an added advantage.
• Good classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
