Job Description

• We are seeking a dependable and experienced Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driver with at least 5 years of professional driving experience.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and timely transportation of personnel and goods, with strong knowledge of Kaduna and inter-state routes including Kogi, Nasarawa, and Niger States.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate light motor vehicles within Kaduna and across neighboring states (Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger).
• Transport staff, clients, and materials to designated locations on schedule.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and maintained regularly.
• Conduct routine checks on vehicle condition (oil, water, tires, brakes, etc.).
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and fuel consumption reports.
• Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly to management.
• Assist with loading and unloading goods when required.

Requirements

• At least 5 years proven experience as an Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driver.
• Valid Nigerian driver’s license (appropriate class for Light Motor Vehicle LMV).
• Strong knowledge of Kaduna roads and inter-state routes (Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
• Physically fit and able to handle light lifting.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Prior experience driving for corporate organizations or NGOs.
• Defensive driving certification (an added advantage).
