Job Title: Regional Technical and Commercial Sales Agronomist

Location: Oyo

Job Description

  • The Technical and comercial Sales Agronomist drives SeedCo Nigeria’s growth by combining sales execution with agronomic support, strengthening market presence, delivering commercial results, and serving as the company’s technical representative within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

  • Implement sales strategies and route-to-market plans to meet assigned revenue, market share, and customer acquisition targets
  • Identify, onboard, and manage business farmers, distributors, agro-dealers, and institutional customers.
  • Conduct market intelligence (competitor analysis, pricing trends, customer insights).
  • Drive adoption of SeedCo products through cluster engagements, cooperatives, and commercial farmers.
  • Support product promotions, visibility campaigns, and trade activities.
  • Drive sales closures through structured field visits, product push activities, and territory activation
  • Organize and execute product promotions, field activation events, visibility campaigns, and trade activities
  • Prepare sales forecasts, regional reports, and performance updates for management.
  • Provide agronomy training and technical backstopping to farmers, distributors, and partners
  • Establish and manage demonstration plots showcasing SeedCo varieties and best practices.
  • Monitor product performance, collect feedback, and share insights with the technical team.
  • Support marketing activities by providing field-based content, testimonials, and technical inputs
  • Represent SeedCo at industry events, exhibitions, and agricultural conferences

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Experience in commercial sales is an added advantage.
