We are recruiting suitable candidates to support our Accounting Function in the capacity below:
Job Title: Accounts Officer
Location: Lagos
Slots: 2 Openings
Responsibilities
- Maintain cash & bank book, bank reconciliations
- Preparing schedules for tax returns – VAT, Withholding taxes, audit schedules
- Preparation of sales invoices, credit notes, sales summary analysis
- Updating vendor & customer accounts and reconciliations
- Sales, purchase transactions entries in the accounting system
- Bank Payments vouchers preparation
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Documents upkeeping for audits
- Aid during audits – documents readiness, schedules preparation, filing and document ownership
- Visits to bank and tax offices for compliances
- Any other jobs may get assigned as and when need arises.
Requirements
- BSc / MSc in Accounting, Computer knowledge – MS office, accounting software – Tally / Sage / SAP is must
- Work experience in any manufacturing unit / shipping agency.
Additional Information:
- The role is based in our Lagos office, 5 days per week.
