Job Title: Sales Officer

Job Summary

  • The Sales Officer is responsible for identifying potential customers, promoting company products or services, and achieving sales targets.
  • The role involves maintaining good customer relationships and expanding the company’s customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential customers to promote company products or services.
  • Meet and exceed monthly or weekly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Provide product information and answer customer inquiries.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers.
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors’ activities.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular sales reports for management.

Performance Indicators

  • Sales revenue generated
  • Number of new customers acquired
  • Customer satisfaction level
  • Achievement of sales targets

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and sales tools.
