Job Title: Accountant & Head of Finance

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant & Head of Finance to manage the company’s financial operations, provide strategic oversight, and ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • This role will play a key part in supporting business growth and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations and maintain accurate accounting systems.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report financial statements in compliance with relevant authority.
  • Ensure timely reconciliations and accuracy of all financial transactions.

Budgeting & Payroll:

  • Prepare,monitor, and manage organizational budgets.
  • Process monthly payroll and salary payments.

Compliance & Risk Oversight:

  • Manage tax payments, audits, and other statutory responsibilities.
  • Conduct risk analyses and provide insights on investment opportunities.
  • Liaise with regulatory and statutory bodies to ensure compliance.

Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Provide financial oversight for strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Represent the company in all finance-related matters.
  • Support the CEO with financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ACA)required or in progress.
  • 5–7 years experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance in Nigeria.
  • Proficiencyin accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
