Role Overview
- The Sales & Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing customer interactions from inquiry to purchase, ensuring excellent service delivery, and achieving weekly and monthly sales targets.
- This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to convert inquiries into repeat customers while maintaining Beem Farms’ reputation for exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Conversion Engage with customers via WhatsApp, phone, and social media DMs to drive sales.
- Convert inquiries into confirmed orders while maintaining a high conversion rate.
- Cross-sell and upsell Beem products based on customer preferences.
- Meet weekly and monthly sales targets as set by the Head of Sales.
- Customer Relationship Management Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
- Manage the customer journey: lead → sale → delivery → feedback → repeat purchase.
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and encourage loyalty.
- Handle objections such as pricing and delivery concerns confidently and persuasively.
- Customer Service Excellence Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Keep accurate records of customer communications and orders.
- Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Provide support during promotional campaigns, sales drives, and events.
- Reporting & Documentation Update daily sales and customer tracking sheets.
- Submit weekly performance and feedback reports.
- Suggest ideas to improve sales processes, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements Education & Experience
- Minimum of OND / NCE (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- At least 1–2 years experience in sales, customer service, or related roles — preferably in FMCG, food, or e-commerce sectors.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
- Strong understanding of customer psychology and sales conversion techniques.
- Confident in using WhatsApp Business, Instagram DMs, and digital communication tools.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Team player with a positive attitude and integrity.
- Performance Metrics Weekly sales target achievement (%).
- Customer conversion and repeat purchase rate.
- Customer satisfaction and response time.
- Accuracy of reports and communication quality.
Compensation
- Salary: N150,000 - N180,000 / month.
