Job Title: Front Desk / Guest Services Officer
Location: Sangotedo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Mode: 24-Hour Shift Rotation
Work Schedule: 1 Day On / 1 Day Off (Shift runs 8:00am – 8:00am the following day)
Core Responsibilities
Guest Services & Relations:
- Check-In & Check-Out: Efficiently manage guest arrivals and departures, ensuring accurate documentation, proper key issuance, and a seamless guest experience.
- Guest Inquiries: Serve as the primary point of contact for all guest questions, including room amenities (fridge, electric burner cooker, Wi-Fi access, etc.).
- Issue Resolution: Promptly address guest complaints, maintenance concerns, or service requests to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Administrative & Front Office Operations:
- Reservations Management: Handle bookings across multiple platforms, ensuring accurate room availability and preventing double bookings.
- Payment Processing: Process guest billing and payments accurately, maintaining financial integrity at all times.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized guest records and ensure the front desk area remains clean, structured, and professional.
Coordination & Safety:
- Housekeeping Liaison: Communicate effectively with Housekeeping to ensure rooms are cleaned, inspected, and ready before guest arrival.
- Security Monitoring: Actively monitor 24/7 CCTV feeds and maintain vigilance to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property.
- Facilities Oversight: Promptly notify management of issues related to utilities, including backup generator performance or other essential services.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: Prior experience in a hotel, serviced apartment, or hospitality environment is strongly preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent customer service etiquette.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using property management systems, WhatsApp for guest communication, and basic office tools.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry, documentation, and financial transactions.
- Flexibility: Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, in support of 24-hour operations.

Salary
