Job Overview
- We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team.
- In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and measurable growth.
- We are looking for a modern marketer who blends creativity with data-driven strategy. You will be at the forefront of our customer acquisition efforts, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools and paid advertising to scale our brand, while also utilizing strong copywriting skills to convert leads.
- This position is initially remote, offering you the flexibility to work from home. However, candidates must be based in Lagos, Nigeria, as there may be a requirement to transition to a hybrid or on-site model in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Advertising Strategy: Plan, execute, and optimize high-performance paid campaigns across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms. You will be responsible for managing ad budgets and ensuring a strong Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
- AI Integration: Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Jasper, etc.) to streamline content creation, analyze consumer data, automate workflows, and generate creative assets.
- Copywriting: Craft compelling, persuasive, and clear copy for ad creatives, landing pages, email marketing campaigns, and social media posts that drive action and conversions.
- Campaign Management: Develop, implement, and track marketing campaigns across various digital channels to ensure ROI.
- Social Media Management: Manage and grow the company’s social media presence by creating engaging content and interacting with the online community.
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer insights specific to the Nigerian and international markets.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and marketing metrics. Use data to A/B test creatives and refine strategies for better results.
- Conversion Optimization: Work on optimizing landing pages and user funnels to ensure traffic converts into leads and sales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 1 - 4 years of proven experience in a marketing role with a specific focus on running paid ads (Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads).
- AI Proficiency: Demonstrated experience using AI tools for marketing purposes (content generation, ad targeting, automation).
- Copywriting Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to write copy that sells. A portfolio of high-converting ad copy or content is a plus.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts, SEO, and SEM.
- Proficiency in using marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite).
- Must be based in Lagos, Nigeria.
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection and a functional laptop/PC suitable for remote work.
