Personnel resources within our database include administration officers, drivers, auditors, logistics officers, procurement expediters, project managers, contact centre and customer service executives, buyers, technicians, engineers, chief executives and other professionals.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project / Program Coordinator

Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Contract length: 6 months

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects across their full lifecycle.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, formal project management qualifications, relevant certifications, and hands-on experience using industry-standard project management tools.
  • The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects within scope, budget, and timeline while ensuring stakeholder alignment and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution & Delivery:
    • Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure effective collaboration.
    • Monitor project performance against scope, cost, and schedule baselines.
    • Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and manage issue resolution.
    • Ensure quality standards and governance requirements are met.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Track project progress using defined KPIs and performance metrics.
    • Prepare and present periodic status reports to senior management.
    • Manage change requests through structured change control processes.
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Risk & Resource Management:
    • Perform risk assessments and maintain risk registers.
    • Optimize allocation of financial, human, and technical resources.
    • Manage vendor relationships where applicable.
    • Project Closure
    • Conduct project evaluations and lessons-learned sessions.
    • Ensure proper handover and documentation of completed deliverables.
    • Measure project outcomes against defined objectives.
  • Program Management
    • Ability to support the coordination and monitoring of multiple related projects within a program to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • This includes tracking progress, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within scope.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Stakeholder Management, Change Management, Issue Resolution Mentoring and Training.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years’ proven experience managing projects across diverse industries or functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Master’s degree in Project Management or related discipline (added advantage).

Required Certifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner (preferred).
  • Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, PMI-ACP) – added advantage.
  • Technical Competencies & Tools Proficiency
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using:
    • Microsoft Project
    • Jira
    • Trello
    • Asana
    • Monday.com
    • Smartsheet
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Project tracking dashboards and reporting tools
