Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lawyer to provide legal support and guidance on all real estate transactions and operations within the company.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling property documentation, reviewing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting the company’s legal interests in all real estate dealings.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate property agreements, leases, sales contracts, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions.
• Conduct title searches and due diligence on properties before acquisition or sale.
• Ensure compliance with real estate laws, regulations, and government policies.
• Liaise with government agencies, land registries, and regulatory authorities for property documentation and approvals.
• Handle property disputes, litigation matters, and legal claims involving the company.
• Provide legal advice to management on property acquisition, development projects, and land matters.

Requirements

• LL.B Degree in Law from a recognized university.
• BL qualification and called to the Nigerian Bar.
• Minimum of 2 – 5 years experience in real estate or property law.
• Strong knowledge of land laws, property documentation, and real estate regulations in Nigeria.

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling land documentation and title verification.
• Familiarity with property registration processes and land registry operations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters.

Benefits

• Salary: N400,000 / month
• HMO (Pension after 3 months probation).
