Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Job Summary
- The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are executed according to approved drawings, timelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on-site.
- Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project plans.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to the Head of Projects/Project Manager.
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety standards and regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Inspect construction work to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
- Resolve technical issues that may arise during construction.
- Maintain proper documentation of site activities, materials, and labour.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and building standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Must be COREN registered (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria).
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in construction or real estate development.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and site supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and site reporting tools.
