Job Title: Fintech Specialist

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • Hands-on product + operations specialist who owns payments, integrations, transaction monitoring and onboarding flows.
  • You’ll bridge product, engineering and compliance to deliver secure, reliable fintech services that scale.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead partner integrations with payment gateways, banks, KYC/identity providers and other third-party APIs.
  • Design and operate webhook, reconciliation and settlement flows; ensure end-to-end transaction integrity.
  • Own transaction monitoring, incident triage and remediation; define SLOs/SLA targets.
  • Work with product and engineering to translate business requirements into production-ready specifications and runbooks.
  • Collaborate with compliance to embed KYC/AML controls and support audits.
  • Produce operational documentation, runbooks and training for operations teams.
  • Analyse transaction and adoption metrics; recommend product and process improvements.
  • Support go-to-market partner onboarding and post-launch stabilization.

KPIs / success measures

  • Integration time-to-production and go-live success rate.
  • Transaction reconciliation accuracy and time-to-settlement.
  • Incident MTTR for payment failures.
  • Onboarding conversion and onboarding SLA adherence.

Requirements

  • BSc / HND qualification in Finance, Computer Science, Economics, or related fields
  • 3 - 6 years experience in fintech, payments, wallets, or financial operations with demonstrated ownership of integrations or reconciliation.
  • Practical experience with REST APIs/webhooks, payment gateways/PSPs, and reconciliation logic.
  • Strong stakeholder skills — comfortable working on-site with engineering and compliance teams.
  • Basic SQL or data-analysis skills to interpret transaction reports.
  • Excellent written communication and documentation ability.

Salary
N1,200,000 - N1,700,000 monthly.
