Job Title: English Language Teacher

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Teach English language including grammar, comprehension, writing, and literature.
• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Prepare tests, assignments, and examination questions.
• Mark and grade students’ work and provide constructive feedback.
• Encourage students to participate in debates, essays, and other language activities.
• Maintain discipline and effective classroom management.
• Keep records of students’ academic progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or NCE in English, Linguistics, or related field.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students.
• Teaching experience is an advantage.
• Passion for education and student development
