Job Title: Commercial Officer

Job Description
  • The Commercial Officer must have a good knowledge of commercial, Procurement Planning & Contract Negotiations with change order and look ahead plan to support operations.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • This position requires a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Engineering or Accounting.
  • A Master's Degree In Engineering or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in contracts management in an E&P company
  • Capable of contractors’ sourcing end registration with relationship Management.
  • Anchor for Tendering and Contractors negotiations and contract reviews.
  • Issuance of Purchase/Work Orders, RFQs & execution of approved amendments/order changes, extensions, renewals and order closure etc.
  • Liaison with NiPEX on Commercial tenders for PSC Contracts
  • Regular Conduct of Market Price Surveys and commercial studies requirements, align procurement strategy, tactics, and address all contracting queries and attend to enquiries
  • Provide Commercial support to Operations to improve efficiency.
  • Procurement Planning & Monitoring based on Look Ahead Plans for Operations.
