Job Title: HSE Manager

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive HSE Manager with over 13 years of core construction experience to lead and manage our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) function across multiple construction projects.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies while providing strong leadership to the HSE team to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and supervise the HSE team across all construction sites
  • Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and management systems
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, industry standards, and client HSE requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and method statement reviews
  • Oversee site inspections, audits, and incident investigations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Drive safety awareness, training programs, and toolbox talks across sites
  • Monitor HSE performance metrics and prepare reports for management and clients
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, consultants, and client representatives on HSE matters
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 13 years’ HSE experience within the construction industry
  • Proven experience managing and leading an HSE team on construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, risk management, and environmental compliance
  • Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON, OSHA, or equivalent)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and reporting skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site construction environment
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
