Job Title: Nursing Assistant

Location: East West Road, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant provides support to pharmacists and healthcare staff by assisting with patient care, medication preparation support, and administrative duties within the pharmacy.
• The role ensures efficient pharmacy operations while maintaining high standards of patient safety and care.Key Responsibilities
• Assist pharmacists withpreparing and dispensing medicationsunder supervision.
• Supportpatient care activities, including taking basic patient information and vital signs when required.
• Maintaincleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace.
• Help manageinventory, stocking, and checking expiry dates of medications.
• Assist inlabeling and packaging medicationsas directed by the pharmacist.
• Providebasic patient guidanceon medication usage as instructed by the pharmacist.
• Maintainpatient records and documentationaccurately.
• Ensure compliance withhealth, safety, and pharmacy regulations.
• Assist withadministrative taskssuch as filing prescriptions and managing patient queues.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Nursing Assistant / Health Care Assistant / Auxiliary Nursing.
• Basic knowledge ofpharmacy operations and medication handlingis an advantage.
• Prior experience inhospital, clinic, or pharmacy setting preferred.

Remuneration
Salary: N50,000 / month plus 20k montly incentives.
