We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities 

• Maintain and update accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Post and reconcile entries in the general ledger.
• Prepare and review bank reconciliation statements and other financial reconciliations.
• Process payroll accurately and ensure timely statutory remittances (e.g., PAYE, VAT, pension contributions).
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and supporting schedules.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal controls.
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with payroll processing and statutory remittances.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 / month.
