Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to support our food & logistics operations in Ibadan.
• The role involves packaging, weighing, and preparing goods for storage or dispatch, ensuring all items are handled efficiently and safely.
• The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to provide excellent customer service while supporting smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers, providing guidance on packaging and shipping requirements.
• Receive, verify, and document incoming cargo.
• Accurately weigh, measure, label, and package items for air transport.
• Ensure goods are prepared for storage, loading, and dispatch.
• Maintain proper organization of the warehouse and cargo.
• Handle documentation including airway bills, cargo manifests, and receipts.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety, security, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum SSCE, OND, NCE, or HND.
• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or cargo handling.
• Must be based in Ibadan.
• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and labels.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and package goods safely.
• Attention to detail for accurate weighing, labeling, and documentation.
• Familiarity with safety and security procedures in logistics/air cargo is an advantage.
• Customer-focused, reliable, and willing to learn.

Salary
N80,000 - N100,000 gross monthly.
