We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Technician

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in the production processes.
• The role ensures continuous and safe operation of electrical components, machinery, and control systems within the manufacturing facility of Vitafoam Nigeria Plc.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and production machines.
• Repair or replace faulty electrical components to minimize production downtime.
• Diagnose electrical faults in production machinery and plant equipment.
• Identify root causes of electrical failures and implement effective corrective actions.
• Respond quickly to electrical breakdowns during production.
• Monitor electrical control panels and ensure they function correctly.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Monitor power supply systems, generators, and distribution boards.
• Work closely with mechanical technicians, engineers, and production staff to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Provide technical support during production and maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• OND, Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum of 5 years practical experience as an Electrical Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
