Job Title: Storekeeper / Asset Officer

Location: Iseyin Farm, Oyo
Department:Operations Administration
Reports To:Operations Manager
Reporting Protocol: Reports submitted to the Operations Manager with the CEO copied (CC)

Job Summary

  • The Storekeeper / Asset Officer manages farm inventory, assets, and operational records.
  • The role ensures accurate documentation, proper storage of materials, and compliance with farm procedures governing materials, equipment, and asset management.

Description

  • This role oversees receiving, recording, storing, and issuing farm supplies such as feed, medications, tools, and equipment. The position also maintains asset records and supports internal operational controls.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and record all farm supplies delivered to the farm.
  • Take custody of items after the Site Supervisor signs delivery verification.
  • Maintain inventory records and stock control systems.
  • Issue materials to authorized staff based on approved requisitions.
  • Maintain records of feed usage, medications, and equipment.
  • Track farm assets and maintain an asset register.
  • Conduct periodic stock checks and inventory reconciliation.
  • Report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items.
  • Maintain organized documentation for operational and compliance records.
  • Support operational planning by providing inventory reports.

Qualifications

  • Education:Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related fields
  • Experience: 2 - 4 years experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or administrative operations.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records.
