Job Title: Heavy Duty Truck Driver

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced and professional Heavy-Duty Trailer Truck Driver to operate a 22-tyre articulated trailer truck with a 40-ton hauling capacity for the transportation of precast concrete panels and construction materials across Nigerian roads.
• The ideal candidate must be a licensed commercial driver with strong experience driving long distances and hands-on knowledge of trailer truck maintenance.
• Must be willing and able to live close to the company factory in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 40-ton articulated trailer truck with 8-Tons built in crane for delivery of precast panels and construction materials
• Drive across inter-state and intra-state routes in Nigeria
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of precast products
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (engine, brakes, tyres, suspension, coupling system)
• Perform basic maintenance and minor roadside repairs when necessary
• Maintain delivery records, trip logs, and fuel usage reports
• Comply strictly with road safety regulations and company HSE policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience driving heavy-duty trailer trucks (30–40 tons)
• Valid Nigerian Driver’s License (Class G or equivalent)
• Proven experience driving 22-tyre / multi-axle trucks
• Good knowledge of Nigerian road networks and traffic conditions
• Basic knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance
• Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Added Advantage:

• Experience transporting precast concrete panels, slabs, or construction materials
• Previous work in construction, logistics, or manufacturing companies
• Experience working with Crane, Forklift or any other heavy equipment is a plus
• Ability to read and speak basic English and any other Nigerian language.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary (based on experience) - N150,000 monthly.
