Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop water and wastewater treatment systems and processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare design proposals, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Oversee the daily operation of water treatment plants to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor treatment parameters and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in pumps, filters, dosing systems, and control units.
• Collect and analyze water samples to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, system performance, and maintenance activities.
• Plan and supervise installation, commissioning, and maintenance of water treatment equipment.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for project progress and compliance.
• Implement health and safety standards in all water treatment operations.
• Support environmental audits and inspections.
• Research new technologies and techniques for sustainable water management.
• Provide training and technical guidance to operators and technicians.
