Job Description
- Innovasol Enterprise is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cinematographer & Video Editor to lead visual storytelling across our travel, lifestyle, media, and impact brands.
- This is not a basic videography role.
- We are looking for a creative professional who understands narrative structure, emotional pacing, cinematic composition, lighting, sound, and advanced post-production techniques.
- The ideal candidate can take a concept, brand message, or campaign idea and transform it into powerful, story-driven video content that captures attention, builds emotional connection, and drives engagement across digital platforms.
- You must be able to think beyond filming.
- You must be able to craft stories.
- This role requires both creative vision and technical mastery.
Key Responsibilities
Cinematic Story Development:
- Translate campaign ideas and brand concepts into visual storytelling formats
- Develop narrative structure before filming begins
- Plan visual direction including tone, mood, framing, and pacing
- Capture compelling emotional moments that support brand storytelling.
Production & Filming:
- Lead and execute professional video shoots across multiple brands
- Direct scenes, interviews, lifestyle moments, and campaign visuals
- Ensure professional lighting, sound, composition, and camera movement
- Capture high-quality footage for travel experiences, personal branding, campaigns, and events:
Advanced Video Editing:
- Edit both short-form and long-form video content
- Craft strong hooks and opening sequences for high retention
- Structure video flow for emotional engagement and clarity
- Perform color grading, sound design, transitions, and visual refinement
- Optimize videos for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Brand & Platform Alignment:
- Ensure video content aligns with brand tone and campaign objectives
- Adapt edits for platform-specific formats and audience behavior
- Collaborate with Marketing & Growth and Social Media teams for campaign rollouts
- Maintain consistent visual identity across brands.
Content Library & Equipment Management:
- Organize and maintain structured video libraries
- Manage and maintain professional video equipment
- Ensure proper storage, backup, and archival of footage.
Creative Leadership:
- Recommend new video concepts and storytelling approaches
- Stay current on cinematic trends, editing styles, and social-first formats
- Continuously improve production quality and creative execution.
Qualifications
- 4 - 5 years of professional cinematography and advanced video editing experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating cinematic storytelling (not just highlight reels)
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of lighting, sound, camera composition, and movement
- Experience producing content for digital platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok)
- Ability to edit for retention, emotional impact, and platform performance
- Strong organizational and file management skills
- Ability to work across multiple brands and projects simultaneously
- Creative, detail-oriented, and highly disciplined
- Flexible and adaptable to work in different environments and with multiple brands.

- Must be able to work in our Ikate / Lekki Phase 1 Office (Freedom Way)
- Some positions may transition to a hybrid schedule after a 3 month probation & demonstrated ability to work independently from home.
- Must have a flexible work schedule, and must be available to work US hours and weekends as needed.
