Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Agent to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate is passionate about travel, has experience in planning and booking international trips, and is skilled at providing exceptional client service.
  • This role requires an individual who can effectively manage trip logistics, work directly with clients, and coordinate with vendors worldwide.
  • This role works closely with the operations team to deliver seamless and memorable travel experiences for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and book flights, accommodations, transportation, and excursions for clients and groups
  • Assist clients with visa applications and basic travel documentation when needed.
  • Advise clients on travel insurance options and entry requirements
  • Manage reservations, confirmations, changes, and special requests with high accuracy
  • Support planning and execution of group trips, camps, and educational tours
  • Coordinate with vendors, hotels, and activity providers to secure competitive rates and quality services
  • Stay updated on travel regulations, entry rules, and destination-specific changes, and communicate updates to clients and internal teams
  • Maintain detailed records of bookings, payments, itineraries, and documentation status
  • Provide clients with finalized travel documents, itineraries, and pre-departure checklists
  • Provide timely assistance for emergencies, delays, or last-minute changes
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners to ensure reliable service delivery

Qualifications

  • 2 - 3 years of experience as a travel agent or in travel planning
  • Familiarity with visa processes, travel documentation, and insurance is a plus
  • Familiarity with flight booking systems, GDS/OTA platforms, and vendor coordination
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent changes with composure
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with booking software and productivity tools preferred
  • Passion for travel and cultural experiences.

Key Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in our Ikate / Lekki Phase 1 Office (Freedom Way)
  • Some positions may transition to a hybrid schedule after a 3 month probation & demonstrated ability to work independently from home.
  • Must have a flexible work schedule, and must be available to work US hours and weekends as needed.
  • Must be creative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary: Competitive (N200,000 - N250,000 monthly), based on experience; flexible ± depending on qualifications.
