Job Description
- We are seeking a highly organized and execution-focused Travel & Media Brand Lead to oversee and manage operational coordination across Innovasol’s travel and media brands, Rooted Journeys, Mom Trotter, Black Kids Do Travel, and The Dad Trotter and MORE!
- This role is responsible for ensuring that travel operations, client bookings, internal coordination, and media execution run smoothly across all brands. The Travel & Media Operations Lead serves as a central point of coordination between travel agents, media teams, and operations leadership, ensuring that trips are launched correctly, clients are tracked accurately, and content is executed consistently.
- This role requires experience across travel operations, project management, and media or social media environments, with strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple moving parts at once.
- This role sits at the heart of Innovasol’s core brands. You’ll manage travel operations, client bookings, trip launches, and cross-brand coordination while ensuring media and content execution runs smoothly. Ideal for someone highly organized, sharp, and experienced in both travel operations and media environments.
Key Responsibilities
Travel Operations:
- Track all Rooted Journeys travel clients, bookings, and trip statuses
- Assign bookings and operational tasks to Travel Agents as needed
- Ensure all trips, camps, and travel experiences are properly set up and launched
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date internal records for clients, bookings, and payments
- Ensure Travel Agents are actively managing their assigned clients and providing timely updates
- Monitor timelines across all trips and flag issues or gaps early
- Ensure leadership has clear visibility into what is happening across travel operations
Media & Content Operations:
- Oversee operational coordination for content across Rooted Journeys, The Mom Trotter, The Dad Trotter, and Black Kids Do Travel
- Ensure the right content is created, scheduled, and published across platforms
- Coordinate content calendars, filming schedules, and editing timelines
- Work closely with the Media Team to ensure content delivery is consistent and timely
- Support seamless execution across all media brands.
Cross-Brand & Team Coordination:
- Serve as a central coordination point across travel, media, marketing, and admin teams
- Ensure alignment between travel activity and content creation
- Track tasks and deliverables across teams and follow up to completion
- Support smooth communication and execution across brands.
Project Management & Systems:
- Create and maintain worklists, trackers, and timelines using Google Workspace
- Use Google Sheets to track bookings, content, and operational tasks
- Maintain organized documentation and shared drives
- Support improvements to workflows and operational systems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in travel operations, project management, or operations roles
- Experience working with travel bookings, clients, or group travel
- Experience in a media, social media, or content-driven environment
- Strong understanding of social media workflows and content execution
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- High proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets
- Ability to manage multiple projects, brands, and timelines
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable
- Familiarity with creative tools such as Canva, InShot, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of analytics and reporting, with the ability to translate data into strategy.
- Excellent leadership, copywriting, and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
Key Requirements:
- Must be able to work in our Ikate / Lekki Phase 1 Office (Freedom Way)
- Some positions may transition to a hybrid schedule after a 3 month probation & demonstrated ability to work independently from home.
- Must have a flexible work schedule, and must be available to work US hours and weekends as needed.
