NoemDek Limited is an EPC Company incorporated in Nigeria in 2012, to provide specialized services to the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, FMCGs, etc. Over the past five years, the firm and its international partners have supported clients on large infrastructure projects and after-sales services to ensure the assets are maintained effectively and a client’s operations run smoothly.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Finance & Accounting Analyst 

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping:

  • Maintain accurate books and accounting records using QuickBooks
  • Post daily transactions, journals, accruals, and adjustments
  • Perform bank, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and basic financial statements.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support financial statement analysis and simple financial models.
  • Prepare reports, schedules, and presentation decks for management.

Tax, Payroll & Statutory Compliance:

  • Process payroll and ensure accurate statutory remittances (PAYE, Pension, NHF, etc.)
  • Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT) under supervision
  • Maintain tax schedules and compliance trackers
  • Support internal and external audit processes.

Cash Flow, Loans & Finance Operations:

  • Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Track loan balances, repayments, and related schedules
  • Support banking transactions and relationship management
  • Assist in managing finance workplans and deadlines.

Team Support & Learning:

  • Work closely with senior finance team members
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and deliver on deadlines
  • Continuously learn accounting standards, tax rules, and finance processes
  • Support improvements in finance processes and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • NYSC completion is mandatory
  • ICAN / ACA / ACCA (or in view) is an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant post-NYSC experience
  • Experience in an audit firm, financial institution, or structured corporate environment is a plus
  • This role requires at least 1 year experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (financial statements, schedules, reports)
  • Basic understanding of IFRS accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and audit procedures
  • Basic financial modelling and analysis skills
  • Payroll processing and statutory remittances
  • Working knowledge of loan management
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
