Job Title: Sales Manager (Seeds)

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to join our team.
  • This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in the agricultural sector, specifically within seed sales.
  • Based in Abuja, you will be responsible for driving both B2B and B2C growth.
  • Your primary mission will be to expand our market share by securing high-value corporate clients and supporting our dealer network, all while being prepared to travel extensively to cultivate relationships in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with corporate farms, enterprise clients, and distributors to drive revenue growth for our seed portfolio.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with farmers, agribusiness owners, and key industry decision-makers.
  • Strategic Execution: Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets within the Abuja region and beyond.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and provide feedback to the management team.
  • Reporting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and reports using CRM tools.

Who You Are

  • You have proven experience in sales within the agricultural sector, specifically dealing with seeds or other agri-inputs.
  • You are based in Abuja and possess a valid driver’s license, with a willingness to travel extensively (up to 60-70% of the time) to meet clients in rural and semi-urban areas.
  • You have a strong network within the agricultural community in Nigeria.
  • You are a self-starter who can work independently in the field while remaining aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • You possess excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N300,000 per month.
