Registrar at Federal College of Education, Ididep

The Federal College of Education (FCE), Ididep, Ibiono Ibom, Akwa Ibom State, is a newly established Nigerian federal institution focused on training teachers for basic education. It has opened admission for 2025/2026 NCE programmes (minimum 100 UTME score), requiring a change of institution on the JAMB portal.

Job Title: Registrar

Location: Ididep - Ibiono, Akwa Ibom 

Duties

• The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the College and is responsible to the Provost for the general administrative work and management of the College.
• Keeps all records of staff and students.
• Write and receive all correspondence on behalf of Council and Management.
• In accordance with the Federal Colleges of Education Act, 2003, the Registrar serves asSecretary to the Council, Management Committee, Academic Board and any Committee of Council.
• Perform any other duties as directed by Council or Provost.

Requirements
Candidates must have the following requirements:

• Must possess relevant Master's degree from a recognize institution of higher learning with at least 18years cognate experience.
• Possession of a Doctorate Degree is an added advantage.
• Must have been a Deputy Registrar on CONTEDISS 15. Evidence of continuous mandatory professional development.
• Proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)
• Must be a member of recognized Professional body in the relevant field
  Successful candidate must not be above fifty-nine (59) years of age at the time of this appointment.

Vision and Mission Statement

• The Candidates must submit, in clear terms, in not more than two (2)pages, his/her Vision and Mission statement for the College in the next 5 years. Additional, candidates should also submit a 3-minute video of same.

Salary

• The Consolidated Salary for Federal Colleges of Education will apply.

Terms of Appointment / Condition of Service:

• Conditions of Service are as outlined in the 2015 Revised Schemes and Conditions of Service for Colleges of Education in Nigeria.

Tenure of Appointment:

• The appointments is for a single tenure of five (5) years only from the date of Appointment.
