Job Title: Key Account Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Direct Reports: Account Managers & Customer Experience Representative

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing key accounts.
  • Acquire new key accounts.
  • Generate, nurture and convert leads.
  • Identity cross selling and upselling opportunities to deepen existing relationships.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that ensures organisational targets are achieved. 
  • Schedule periodic receipt of feedback from clients to ensure optimum client satisfaction.
  • Provide periodic reports on sales outcomes.
  • Carry out account planning activities to provide insights into clients’ accounts for decision making. 
  • Identify and coordinate sponsorship and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of client briefs and requests: design, digital marketing, social media team and so on as required.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders: clients, partners, consultants, regulators, media houses and so on as required.
  • Organise and anchor client pitch and review sessions.
  • Coordinate the preparation of periodic client reports as agreed.
  • Coordinate all client service-related activities: events, client visits and so on as required.

Requirements
Education:

  • First degree in any Marketing, Business Management or other related social science course.
  • Certifications and professional memberships will be an added advantage: ARCON, NIPR, CIM etc

Experience:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in a marketing/advertising agency.
  • Verifiable evidence of customer acquisition and management competency.
  • Sound understanding of marketing and advertising.
  • At least 5 years in client services in a marketing/advertising agency.
