We combine real listing checks, identity verification and AI matching so renters spend less time scrolling and more time moving into the right place. Roomyis a newhousing platform launching soon to make finding rooms and housemates simpler, safer, and less stressful. We are tackling one of the world's biggest problems — housing — and we’re building fast.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Growth & Lead Generation Associate

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract (1 month with possibility of extension)

The Role (What You’ll Actually Do)

  • This is not a passive admin role.
  • You will be on the front line helping Roomy grow before launch.

You will:

  • Actively engage in Facebook housing groups
  • Identify and message
  • People looking for rooms
  • People listing rooms or properties
  • Convince room seekers to join the Roomy waitlist
  • Help landlords/hosts sign up and list their properties for FREE
  • Personally assist users with onboarding and setup
  • Follow up with leads until they complete signup.
  • You’ll be speaking to real people with real housing needs every day.

Targets & Expectations

  • This role is results-driven.
  • Over the 1-month period, you will aim to:
    • Add 300–500 room seekers to the waitlist
    • Onboard 40–60 landlords/hosts
    • Help complete 25–40 property listings
  • You’ll receive clear scripts, guidance, and tracking tools — but you must be proactive.

Who This Role Is For
You’re a great fit if you:

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s / Master`s Degree with 2 years experience.
  • Are confident messaging people online (DMs, comments, follow-ups)
  • Are comfortable with Facebook groups and social platforms
  • Communicate clearly and politely
  • Can work independently and hit daily targets
  • Are organised and can track conversations and outcomes
  • Are motivated by results, not just hours
  • Experience in sales, customer support, community management, or lead generation is a plus — but hunger and consistency matter more.
