Job Summary

  • The Relationship Manager (Corporate Banking) will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with corporate and institutional clients while driving deposit mobilization and corporate lending activities.
  • The role requires developing tailored financial solutions that meet the operational and liquidity needs of corporate clients while ensuring sustainable portfolio growth.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the bank’s corporate client base by identifying new business opportunities, structuring credit facilities, and promoting the adoption of the bank’s digital financial services.
  • The role requires strong financial analysis capability, credit evaluation skills, and the ability to build long-term strategic relationships with corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities
Corporate Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and onboard new corporate clients across target sectors and industries.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the bank’s corporate banking portfolio.
  • Build strong pipelines of potential corporate customers through networking, referrals, and industry engagement.

Relationship Management & Client Advisory:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
  • Develop long-term relationships with corporate clients to enhance retention and business growth.
  • Provide advisory support on financial solutions including working capital management, credit facilities, and digital banking services.

Credit Origination & Financial Analysis:

  • Identify lending opportunities and structure appropriate financing solutions for corporate clients.
  • Conduct financial analysis including review of financial statements, cash flow projections, and credit risk factors.
  • Prepare detailed credit proposals and documentation for internal credit approval processes.

Deposit Mobilization & Revenue Growth:

  • Drive deposit mobilization initiatives within the corporate client segment.
  • Increase the bank’s share of client wallet through cross-selling financial products.
  • Promote digital payment solutions, collections platforms, and other fintech-enabled services to corporate clients.

Portfolio Management & Risk Monitoring:

  • Monitor the performance of the corporate loan portfolio and ensure strong credit quality.
  • Track loan utilization and ensure compliance with approved credit terms.
  • Identify potential credit risks early and collaborate with risk teams to implement mitigation strategies.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with credit, operations, and product teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Support seamless onboarding of corporate clients onto digital banking platforms.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs and product improvement opportunities.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor portfolio performance against assigned targets.
  • Prepare periodic reports on corporate client acquisition, deposit growth, and loan portfolio performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 4–6 years’ experience in corporate banking or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate credit analysis.
