Location:  Remote (Nigeria)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

• We are hiring a smart, analytical, and relationship-focused Trade Analyst to support trading operations across fixed income, equities, and money market instruments.
• This role is ideal for someone early in their career who has worked in a core trading, asset management, or brokerage firm.
• Experience in operations from major bank maybe considered.
• The ideal candidate has a strong interest in financial markets, is sociable, articulate, and able to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Support fixed income and equities trading activities, including market monitoring and trade execution preparation.
• Conduct basic research and analysis on market trends, yields, pricing, and securities performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports for the investment team.
• Liaise with brokers, custodians, and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Track portfolio positions, reconciliations, and trade settlements.
• Assist in preparing investment memos, pitch decks, and client updates.
• Maintain strong communication and relationship management across stakeholders.

Requirements

• BSc or HND qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
• Experience in asset management, brokerage, fixed income, equities, or market research is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
• Self-driven, organized, and eager to build a career in trading and investment management.
