We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Accountant

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accountant with strong finance experience to join our team and support the financial operations of the organization.
  • The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting financial planning and reporting activities, particularly within the real estate business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor project budgets, property income, and expenditure.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Track property-related revenues such as rent, service charges, and sales proceeds.
  • Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • 3–6years accounting experience, preferably within the real estate, construction, or property management sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
