Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer - Power Plant

Job Summary
- The Powerhouse Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the mechanical integrity, maintenance, and performance of all Steam turbines systems within the cogeneration plant.
- This role ensures the steam turbines are operated and maintained safely, efficiently, and reliably in compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and operational goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily mechanical operations and inspections of steam turbo generators systems.
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures, leaks, and abnormal conditions.
- Review turbines efficiency and implement improvement measures.
- Ensure availability of critical spares and materials for turbo generators maintenance.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and industry standards.
- Lead commissioning, shutdown planning, execution, and maintenance activities etc.
- Coordinate with operations, electrical, and I&C team for integrated operation and maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on operation, inspections, breakdowns, and maintenance.
- Train and supervise junior staff, including assistants and technicians.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience
- Shall hold the minimum of B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification in steam turbines Operation & Maintenance (preferred)
- Minimum 15 years in steam turbines maintenance and operation in cogeneration or thermal power plants, with at least 7 years in a supervisory or lead engineer role.
