Job Title: Machinery Officer
Location: SSC P-Numan, Adamawa
Job Summary
- Machinery Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring total availability equipment for land preparation are ready in good working condition, organize manpower, labour & report to Land Development Manager.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate with HTMS for repairs, either by in-house maintenance staff or external service providers. Ensure that repairs are completed promptly and effectively to minimize production interruptions.
- Follow up machine maintenance & Monitor machinery performance metrics such as uptime, efficiency, and output. Identify areas for improvement and implement measures to optimize machinery performance.
- Ensure daily fuel reservation & machinery operators follow safety protocols, operational procedures, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely completion of Land preparation as instructed.
- Identify machine challenges and implement measures to optimize machinery performance.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience
- Shall hold the minimum of B. Sc. In Engineering
- Any relevant Professional Certification is an added advantage.
- 2-6 Years in Sugar Farm Machinery
